1-Class in Mother Daughter Workshop Series

$40.00

Join Alexandria Romero for a 4-part workshop series for mothers and their daughters, ages 12-15, to empower our girls,  strengthen the bond of loving understanding between moms and daughters,  and teach meditation and creative journaling practices our girls can use to stay connected to themselves, and to create positive meaning from the challenges in their lives.

Here are the topics that will be covered over the course of the 4-week series through meditation, creative journaling, experiential exercises, and sharing:

  • Empowerment. Differentiating between positive and negative self-talk. Girls will be empowered to choose how they think and feel about themselves.
  • Self-Esteem. Identifying and exploring strengths, loves, passions, creativities, talents, gifts, and activities that bring joy and that will have a positive impact on themselves and their world.
  • Body Talk: Girls will learn how to discern their yes’s from their no’s to by tuning into their bodies and their inner-guidance, to make decisions that honor their highest good. Girls will practice assertiveness, as honesty with love.
  • Mindfulness: Girls will practice mindfulness to reduce stress and to better understand and process their emotions.

This workshop series will begin on Saturday, May 27th from 3:30-5:00 at the beautiful Yoga+Bergamot. The workshop series will continue for the next 3 Saturdays, 6/3, 6/10 & 6/17 from 3:30-5 at Yoga+Bergamot in Encinitas. Come to all, or come to however many you can.
